Karwar: Three persons were instantly killed after a bike they were riding on rammed into a minibus on the National Highway-66 near Anathawadi village of Honnavar Taluk here on Tuesday, August 14.
The deceased have been identified as Abhishek Naik from Kumta, Sandeep Gowda and Sangeetha from Ananthawadi village.
Eyewitnesses said that the bike skidded on the wet tarmac of the road and smashed into the oncoming minibus. The bike soon caught fire and was charred beyond recognition.
A case has been registered at the Manki Police Station in this regard.
