Karwar: Manoj Baadkar from Karwar, who was serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Indian Coast Guard has been promoted as Inspector General.
Baadkar has been also appointed as DIG and President for Indian Coast Guard Selection Board.
From past 31 years, Manoj is serving as Indian Coast Guard officer. Owing to his vast experience in the field he has been promoted to the higher rank .
In his service tenure he has bagged several awards. As Inspector General for Indian Coast Guards, he will also serve as Deputy Director General for General Recruitment and Coast Guard Selection Board.
Manoj Baadkar is son of Vasanth Baburao Baadkar. He has obtained his bachelor degree from Government Arts and Science College, Karwar.
