Karwar: Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegade has often made statements that hit national headlines. In yet another explosive statements, the BJP leader has said that many from other parties have toiled very hard for his victory in the LS polls.
“The decision of the coalition partners to leave Uttara Kannada constituency for the JDS has paved an easy path to victory for the BJP,” said union minister Ananth Kumar Hegade said while addressing the party workers’ convention in BJP officer at Kumta.
Though this statement didn’t leave eyebrows raised, what Hegade followed it up is surely going to stir up a controversy.
Hegade said that he should thank all those who worked behind the scenes for victory of his party. This he meant for leaders from opposition parties.
“There are many behind the screens. You are not aware of them, only I know them,” he said.
