Karwar dist admin’s ‘CoRover Connect’ app to Murudeshwar tourists’ ‘rescue’

Karwar: This app by Tourism Department can definitely help tourists shape their travelling experience at Murudeshwar!

CoRover Connect, a mobile-based platform by district administration in collaboration with CoRover Private Limited will connect tourists with each other and also with staff curated vendors, emergency responders and other service providers in Murudeshwar.

Tourists cannot get help like finding good quality food at reasonable price, buy local merchandise without feeling like they got cheated or in case of emergencies, connect to the correct authorities for help.

This single app can help tourists to share pictures, location and collaborate with fellow tourists through group or private chat.

CoRover Connect app transforms travel into smooth and exciting one. It s a patent pending technology. This interesting app has got wide range of solutions like panic button in any emergency, connecting with nearby service providers and notifications on exciting deals and offers nearby. Even tourists can instantly send feedback to the department concerned.

Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul said the app would be of great help to the tourists and eventually it would be extended to Gokarna, Karwar and other districts too.

Murudeshwara is located on the main Mangaluru-Karwar highway between the picturesque Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. It offers a magnificent view of the sea, consists of a beach, an awesome Shiva temple with Chalukya and Kadamba sculptures built in the Dravidian style of architecture.
