Karwar: Union minister and sitting MP, Ananth Kumar Hegde has predicted that the state will witness yet another election by August.
Addressing the BJP workers’ meet on Sunday, May 12 here, the Minister said that no party worker must relax now thinking that the LS polls are over. “We will be facing yet another election soon. By August the state coalition government will dissolve and by the time Gram Panchayat election starts in the state, assembly election too will happen,” he said.
“The government has got its wish of euthanasia granted and has discovered its fate. Hence, the coalition party workers must be all set for another assembly election. As the internal disputes in the state coalition is brewing, it is evident that the government will dissolve”, he added.
He opined that the BJP would come to power yet again under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
