Gandhiji wanted ‘Rama Rajya’, but Nehru didn’t: Nalin Kumar Kateel

Sirsi: BJP state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel is creating one new controversy on a daily basis. Like Prime Minister Modi and several other leaders of the BJP, he too has started blaming Nehru for all the problems of the country. The latest addition to this is his new theory on secularism. Addressing a party event in Sirsi, he claimed that Gandhiji wanted Rama Rajya in the country and never propagated a secular country. “Gandhiji’s idea for the country was that of a Rama Rajya. But Nehru converted it into a secular country,” he alleged.

He also blamed Nehru for the Kashmir problem. “If Nehru had beliefs in the one country- one flag-one prime minister, the Kashmir issue would have never taken birth. It finally took Modi and Shah to find a solution for the 73-year-old problem,” he said.
