Karwar: In a sad incident reported from Marukeri, Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district, a father died within hours after his teenage daughter succumbed to a brief illness on Monday July 12.
The deceased father and daughter have been identified as Ram Sukra Gonda (46) and daughter Kavya Ram Gonda (15), respectively. Kavya was a student of Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential School.
According to reports, Kavya on Monday morning complained of breathing problems following which she was taken to hospital, where she breathed her last. Unable to bear the shock, Ram too breathed his last within hours of his daughter’s death.
