Karwar: Member of Parliament in Modi government, Ananthkumar Hegde has yet again targeted former deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada Sasikanth Senthil for his remarks against the Central government.
Taking to Twitter, Hegde has made a video and uploaded it, yesterday, i.e Monday, September 9 night and said, “Serving the government & yet questioning people's representative’s decision taken as per constitutional norms, besides labelling it as fascist amounts to nothing less than #Rajadroha!”
In the video he has opined, “One should not consider Senthil’s resignation as a personal one. An IAS officer has dared to question the decision taken in the parliament with majority. I think there cannot be as bigger betrayal as this one to a government. The officials must take stringent action against him. The Governor of Karnataka too has powers to look into the matter and the people of the state too are looking forward for it.”
Adding to it he has said that Senthil’s remarks were influenced by other factors.
Hegde has lashed out at Senthil by stating, “An officer serving in the administrative services has no rights to question the decisions of the government. It is only his arrogance and rudeness that has made him question the decision which has received majority on both the floors of the parliament.”
It can be recalled that yesterday Hegde had made series of tweets stating that Senthil should first migrate to Pakistan with his supporters and had termed him as another paid “#Gaddar.”
