Karwar: Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ananth Kumar Hegde criticised the media, here on Wednesday, February 20 stating, “Nothing is written representing us but they write whatever comes to their mind. One must not adhere to such media sections and invite negativity.”
Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party workers and the public at Alegeri of Ankola town, said that who watched television daily will develop an unstable and disturbed mind.
He said, “The exposure to electronic and print news leads to high blood pressure, diabetes and what not. Every other media predicts that if there is a ‘Mahagathbandhan’ then there is going to be a huge political shift and all sorts of things. Nothing is going to happen.”
“I have refrained from all sorts of media from the past 10 years, which has helped me stay healthy”, he added.
