In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, 20-year-old pharmacy student Yamini Priya was found murdered near a railway track on October 16, 2025. Police have arrested two men in connection with the case.
The primary accused, Vignesh, 28, a neighbour of the victim, allegedly killed Yamini after she refused his persistent marriage proposal. Authorities revealed that Vignesh had been pressuring the victim for weeks, and when she rejected him, he attacked her with a sharp weapon, causing fatal injuries.
Harish, the second accused, is alleged to have helped Vignesh evade capture after the murder. Police investigations led to the seizure of the two-wheeler used in the crime and other evidence linking the suspects to the attack. Authorities are continuing their inquiry to determine whether others were involved or aware of the plan.
