Mudigere: The political circles in Chikkamgaluru are abuzz that Home Minister G Parameshwar is likely to be fielded as Mudigere candidate for the upcoming Assembly polls in Karnataka.
The political parties are doing their own ground work for Assembly Polls to be held in 2018. Considering the fact that the Congress needs to strengthen its hold over Chikkamagaluru, it is said that the Congress leaders have decided to field G Parameshwar from Mudigere Assembly segment.
Meanwhile, sources say that the party workers are gearing up to make the best out of this change. Mudigere is a reserved constituency and hence it is said that in all likelihood G Parameshwar will contest from this constituency.
