Chikkamagaluru: Prithviraj K, 32, a resident of Devarakudige village, Koppa taluk of the Chikkamagaluru district arrived at his native village from Bengaluru ten days ago as his marriage was fixed for Thursday April 29. However, destiny had other plans. Instead of marriage on Thursday his family members performed his final rites as Covid 19 infection claimed his life.
According to the villagers, he was rushed to the Mc Gann Teaching District Hospital after he developed Covid 19 symptoms. On Wednesday April 28 he breathed his last as his body didn’t respond to the treatment.
The entire villagers were shocked by the sudden death of the young man. His final rites were held as per the Covid 19 protocol.
