Chikkamagaluru: Another freaky accident has been reported during a Kannada movie shooting where a tractor overturned injuring the driver seriously, here at on November 5.
The incident comes month after two actors died during Duniya Vijay starrer ‘Mastigudi’ movie shooting.
The accident occured during the shooting of Kannada movie ‘Ice Mahal’ here in Vagarehalli in Kadoor. Kishore and Keerthi Bhat are in lead roles in the film.
Kishore’ brother who was driving the tractor during the shoot has suffered severe head injuries and has been shifted to a private hospital. According to reports it was the last day of the movie shoot.
It may be recalled that two actors Anil Kumar and Uday Venkatesh drowned while shooting for Kannada movie ‘Maasti Gudi’ after they jumped off a helicopter into the Tippagondanahalli reservoir, 35km west of Bengaluru, on November 8, 2016. A motorboat stationed on the banks to pull the actors out of the water developed a last-minute snag and remained ashore, resulting in the tragedy. Duniya Vijay, hero of the movie Maasti Gudi , who also made the jump with the other two, survived as he was rescued in the nick of time by a local who rushed to his help in a coracle.
