Bareilly: Warning the BJP and their ally, the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP), about the consequences of not taking a stand on reservation for backward communities, Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Sunday, October 14, said that the poor will not vote for the party if it didn’t do anything for the community.
Known for his hot and cot relationship with the BJP, Prakash has frequently confronted the party on issues regarding the backward communities.
“Either take a decision on the 27 percent reservation for the backwards or get ready to lose votes in the 2019 elections,” the minister said asking them to remember the election results in Gorakhpur, Phulpur, Kairana and Noorpur.
“Poor will take your money, eat your chicken but not vote for you if you don’t do anything for the community,” ANI quoted the minister as saying.
