Adoor: As the rescue work continues in flood-affected regions of Kerala, the people are finding it difficult to find places to lay their loved ones to rest. Responding to desperate pleas, a Pastor has come forward to offer his land in Adoor for holding the last rights of the victims.

In a Facebook live video, Pastor Kuruvilla Kulanjikompil Samuel said, “I have a land measuring 25 cents around 3 kilometres away from Adoor town in Pathanamthitta district. There is a road leading to the place. The place is not affected by the continuing flood. Anyone who does not have a proper place to bury their loved ones is permitted to approach my brother George K S, a reporter for Deepika News,” he said.

“Anyone irrespective of religion, caste, creed, class or sex can be buried on my land. Allied organisations can help with burial procedures,” he added.

Samuel has been serving as an independent Pastor in Delhi for many years now. The video has gone viral on the internet, with several netizens praising the noble gesture.
