New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi donated Rs 25,000 from her personal savings account to PM CARES Fund.
The fund has been opened to utilised the proceedings to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had last week announced the creation of emergency situation relief fund where people could contribute and help in the government’s fight against coronavirus.
“It is my appeal to my fellow Indians, kindly contribute to the PM-CARES Fund. This Fund will also cater to similar distressing situations, if they occur in the times ahead,” the PM had said.
