New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the nation on Tuesday, April 14 at 10 AM. An announcement in this regard was made through the official Twitter handle of the Prime Minister’s handle.

April 14 is the last day of the 21-day lockdown that was imposed on the country with the view to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
It is believed that the Prime Minister will announce an extention of the lockdown, as hinted last week during his interaction with the Opposition leaders, as well as with the Chief Ministers of the states.
During the meeting with the Chief Ministers, PM Modi was urged to extend the lockdown for at least two more weeks
It can be noted that some states like Odisha, Maharashtra, West Bengal have already officially extended the lockdown till April 30.
