Mumbai: While the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition is under the assumed threat of ‘Operation Lotus’, some of its MLAs camping in Mumbai and Delhi are giving feathers to the “rumours”, MLA from Vijayanagara (Hospet) Constituency Anand Singh has appeared before the media, here on Tuesday, January 15 to clarify.

Anand Singh asked a counter question to the media personnel on ‘Operation Lotus’ saying, “Have you seen me standing next to any BJP leader? Have I said that I’ll be leaving the coalition government?”

“It’s all far from truth and rumours that you all are trying to spread across”, added Anand Singh.

On questions of meeting the AICC General Secretary and Karnataka In-charge K C Venugopal, he said, “He is our high command leader and he had asked me and my colleagues in the coalition to meet him, that’s the reason we were here.”

Anand Singh has confirmed that none of the BJP leaders has approached him with any kind of offer.
