New Delhi: With the counting evidently going with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) so far, the party which is confident of winning the election has asked around 20,000 workers to gather at its headquarters in Delhi this evening.
Reportedly, the BJP has planned a grand welcome for PM Narendra Modi.
The exit polls have predicted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win 300-plus seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP led NDA will have to win more than 272 seats out of the total 542 seats (as Vellore in TN did not go in for elections) to form the government.
Reportedly, the BJP has also asked all its winning candidates to reach Delhi by May 25.
The exit polls have given 122 seats for the opposition Congress and its allies.
