Mumbai: In an unprecedented development, several parts of Mumbai are facing a power failure on Monday morning due to grid failure, which according to the city’s electricity supply board, is due to the to “TATAs incoming electric supply failure”.
“The electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure. Inconvenience is regretted,” Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) tweeted.
Juhu, Andheri, Mira Road, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Panvel were the worst affected areas due to power cut.
Several residents took Twitter to complain of a sudden electricity outage.
