Vishakhapatnam: Sea pools are very popular in the western countries. These man-made sea pools built adjacent to the sea provides a safe and secure area for children and adults to swim.
Now for the first time in India, sea pools will be built in Vishakhapatnam’s ‘Rushikonda’, ‘Mangamaripeta’, ‘Sagaranagar’, and ‘Lawson’s Bay.’
Reportedly, there have been more than 450 deaths due to drowning in the sea in the last 10 years in Vishakhapatnam. To avoid more deaths, the government has come up with a proposal for sea pools.
Sea pools are safe for people to spend time with their children. Parents can ensure the safety of their children, while they carry out water sports all in one pool.
