Current weather in cities of India

Chandigarh / Mangaluru: Indian subtropical climate shows its character when summer begins. Despite the fact that the weather is pleasant in may, in July you cannot even think of the comfortable temperature. With this unpredictable current weather, you can barely enjoy any sunny days, since their number hardly reaches 10. The cloudy sky doesn’t save from the heat at all.

At the daytime, air temperature reaches up to +40 degrees Celsius, which together with high humidity makes this weather uncomfortable. The rainy season lasts a bit more than three months, with its peak being in July-August. The precipitation amount exceeds 300 mm, which is not common for other seasons of the year.

Planning a vacation during this current forecast weather is almost impossible. In the evening, the air temperature drops to +20-+25 degrees Celsius. Due to this, you should take care of having warm clothes with you. A 15-degrees’ temperature drop can significantly spoil the evening you are going to spend with your friends.

Peculiarities of weather Chandigarh
Chandigarh is a city that is no less than other locations affected by the monsoons. In the region, the rainy season lasts until early in October. The precipitation amount in the middle of July and early August is about 280 mm. The current Chandigarh weather is far from being pleasant; therefore, you definitely shouldn’t leave home without an umbrella.

A significant difference from other Indian cities is its bearable air temperature:

  • the average indicator reaches up to 30 degrees during the daytime;
  • at night, the temperature drops to +18 degrees Celsius. If you are going to stroll in the evening, keep in mind taking warm clothes with you;
  • another unusual peculiarity of summer weather in Chandigarh is worth mentioning.
  • Despite very small number of sunny days, you shouldn’t forget to use sunscreen. You can barely notice the effect of ultraviolet light, but you shouldn’t take a chance.

Weather Mangalore forecast for late July – early August
July in Mangalore is believed to be not only the rainiest but also the windiest month of the year. The precipitation amount of that peak period reaches up to 850 mm. The speed of gusty wind reaches as much as 3.5 m/s. However, Mangalore weather can still be considered more or less comfortable.

The secret of bearable weather conditions is in the thermometer indicators. The air temperature amounts to only 29 degrees Celsius. This is the maximum recorded in 2019. At nighttime, the temperature drops to 24 degrees Celsius.

It should also be mentioned that the weather in Mangalore has little effect on water temperature. In July, this indicator amounts to about +27-+28 degrees. Quite often cloudy days are replaced by sunny or cloudy weather. When leaving home, be sure to take an umbrella.
