Hazratganj (Uttar Pradesh): Hours after it was reported that BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, accused in Unnao rape case was taken into custody for questioning by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on April 13, Sengar has denied the reports.
Rubbishing the reports, he claimed that he had gone to the CBI’s head office in Hazratganj out of his own accord.
Despite being taken into CBI custody, BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar denied being held by the CBI and said that he had, in fact, arrived on his own at the agency’s head office in Hazratganj.
“I came here by myself. Ask the authorities,” he told News18 as he was being escorted into the head office.
