Army chief Bipin Rawat interacts with 140 J&K students

New Delhi: About 140 Jammu and Kashmir students had participated in an interactive session with the Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat here on Monday, June 10.

The official sources confirmed that as a part of the Indian Army’s National integration Tour programme, 120 students from Baramulla district and 20 from Ramban, Reasi and Rajouri districts had participated. The students were also accompanied by four teachers.

The sources said that the students were motivated by General Bipin Rawat to work towards building the nation with his set of experiences.

The sources also said that it was a motivational and educational tour for the youths of J&K and North-Eastern states. Such tours are organised to make the youth understand the rich heritage of the country and other industrial and developmental aspects.
