Yadgir: BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel criticized MLA Basanagouda Patil for not responding to the show cause notice issued to him for criticizing the BJP high command over the delay in flood-relief sanctions.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, October 17, Kateel hinted at Patil and stated that no one was more important or less important in the party. He further said that everyone is treated equally in the BJP.
“The BJP party has its own framework and guidelines. Everybody in the party is a party worker and not a big personality. Once a person gets the B Form from the party, it means that he should be within the party boundaries. If not, it’s a common procedure of questioning one’s conduct, for which the concerned person is responsible to answer,” Kateel said.
He added, “Even though I’m the party’s state president, I’m asked for clarifications whenever I commit mistakes. At that point in time, it becomes my responsibility to provide one. If there are any issues, let us sort it out by discussing with the senior leaders in the party. But keeping mum without any response is nothing but a sign of arrogance which will be subjected to strict action.”
Meanwhile, he also clarified that the alleged cold war between Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and himself was nothing and that it was confusion created by individuals on social media.
