Vehicle topples into river, one woman loses life

Karkala: A woman was killed when a Bolero vehicle accidently fell into Shambhavi river.

Stanley Mascarenes of Bola Village, Karkala, was travelling with his wife Diana, and children Sheldon and Armaan to Mangalore to attend a wedding. Stanley lost control of the vehicle he was driving while on Shambhavi river bridge, near Sankalakariya, and the vehicle along with the passengers toppled into the river.

Soon people nearby rushed for their rescue, and were successful in saving three of the family members, but unfortunately could not save Diana as she was already dead.
