Manipal: BJP national president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will pay a visit to Manipal on Saturday, December 21, at 4 PM.
He will call on the Pejawar seer, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Manipal. The seer was admitted to a private hospital for treatment of lung-related complications
According to sources, Shah will be accompanied by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and home minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Meanwhile, JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda has wished the Pejawar seer an early recovery.
Sources added that the Pejawar seer continues to remain critical at the hospital. He is being treated in the ICU.
Meanwhile, Shah is expected to hold a discussion with the CM on the prevailing situation in Karnataka, following the protests against CAA and NRC, according to a BJP leader.
