Udupi: State Health Minister B Sriramulu, while leaving the city, stopped to help a woman who was injured in a road accident on the national highway here on Saturday, September 28.
The minister, who was on his way to Kundapur, after staying and holding a meeting in the Udupi District Hospital, witnessed a road accident on the national highway.
He immediately stopped his car, alighted the vehicle and rushed to the woman’s aid. He lifted the injured woman and placed her in Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat’s car.
Sriramulu directed his staff to take her to the hospital and make sure that she receives the necessary treatment.
A video of this incident has gone viral across all social media platforms and the minister has received a lot of appreciation from the netizens.
