Udupi: Sitting MP Shobha Karandlaje filed her nomination papers to contest from the Udupi-Chickmagalauru Lok Sabha Constituency as the BJP’s candidate, on Tuesday, March 26.
The Chief Returning Election Officer, and Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district, Hephsiba Rani Korlapati, received Shobha’s nomination papers.
She was accompanied by Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Defence Minister, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar and Kaup MLA Lalalji Mendon.
