Udupi: A police complaint has been lodged by Shirva Church Parish Priest Fr. Denis D’Sa against 14 persons for issuing a life threat to him in connection to the suicide case of Fr Mahesh D’Souza.
According to the Shirva Police Sub-inspector on November 3, Fr Denis D’Sa filed a complaint with the Shirva Police station against Sunil Cabral, Conred Castalino, Peter Corda, Rayan Menezes, Johnson Castelino, Anthony Menezes Pilar, Arthur Menezes, Clara Quadros, Wilfred Menezes, Leena D’Souza, Denis Mathias, Sunitha Menezes, Nikhil Mathias and Prateeksha D’Souza.
In his complaint, Fr Denis D’Sa urged the police to take stern action against those who have harassed him and have threatened with dire consequences.
Fr Mahesh D’Souza, the principal of Shirva Don Bosco CBSE School was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his chamber at the school in Shirva on October 11, 2019. A case of unnatural death was registered at the Shirva police station.
