Udupi: The Kaup police have arrested two persons in connection with a recent gold chain snatching case in the Inanje village near here.
The arrested accused are Krishna Narasimha Shastri (27), originally from the Raichur district and a current resident of the Pallugudde village and Vijay Kumar (21), a native of Bagalkot.
Recently, Shantha Acharya of the Moodamana village was getting grass for the cattle when the two accused came on a bike and snatched her gold chain. A case in this regard was registered with the police.
