Tumkur: As the fear of the novel coronavirus grips the whole world, in Karnataka, people are offering special prayers and havans to please God so that the whole world may be saved from the deadly virus that has killed over 700 people so far.
In this connection, a special puja was offered at the Sri Shaneshwara Temple located in the Rangana Halli village on Friday, February 7.
Addressing the media, priest Yashawnth Shastri said that the special puja was offered in order to save the world from diseases like the coronavirus and H1N1. Additionally, he said that such special pujas and havans were performed from the time of their ancestors for the betterment of society and to save the world from virus attacks.
