43 goats kept in isolation after shepherd tests positive for COVID 19

Tumakuru: The Tumakuru district administration kept 43 goats in isolation after five of them died. Earlier, a shepherd who was looking after these goats tested positive for COVID 19.

According to the law and parliamentary affairs minister JC Madhuswamy, the incident reported from Godekere in Chikkanayakanahalli his home constituency. The swab samples of these goats have been collected and sent to GKVK and virology institute in Bhopal.

According to the authorities, these goats are now kept in the isolation in Jakkanahalli village. “Their health is beig closely monitored by the officials from the animal husbandry department,” said officials from the district’s administration.
