Priyesha bags bronze in Deaf Shooting Worlds

Kazan: India’s Priyesha Deshmukh won a historic bronze medal in the first World Deaf Shooting Championships here on Saturday.
She claimed the third position in the 10 metres air rifle category and it was her maiden international participation.

The 23-year-old Maharashtra competitor posted a total of 180.4 to finish third.

Svitlana Yatsenko of Ukraine bagged the gold medal with a total of 201.6, while Gordana Micovic Mucibabic of Serbia was second with a cumulative total of 200.3.
