Hubli: In the second semi-final of the ongoing KPL tournament, the Mysore Warriors after winning the toss and deciding to bat first, have set a formidable total of 179 for the Mangalore United to chase.

Having started at a slow pace, the Warriors seemed to end up with a score of around 140. At 16 overs, the team were at 102 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. However, they were quick to recover and some insane hitting by the batsmen S Bhavane (61 off 46 not out), SP Manjunath (22 off 8) and J Suchith (25 off 10 not out) ensured that they reached 178 for the loss of seven wickets. Thus, in the last 24 balls they managed to score 76 runs, at a run rate of 19 per over.

Mangalore United now need 179 to win off 120 balls with ten wickets in hand.
