KPL: Bad death over bowling costs Mangalore United the match

Hubli: Bad bowling towards the death overs of the Mysore Warriors batting cost the Mangalore United team dear, with the Warriors handing over a massive defeat to Mangalore United, thereby ending their run in this edition of the KPL. With this victory, Mysore Warriors now move on to face Belagavi Panthers in the finals at the KSCA Stadium in Hubli tomorrow at 6pm.

On the batting front for the Mysore Warriors, Shishir Bhavane scored an unbeaten 61, which made all the difference to the match, which Mangalore United also incidentally lost by the same margin. Mangalore United did not look promising with the bat today and ended up performing way below the standards they had set for themselves in the earlier matches. Ganesh Satish high scored for the United with 37, followed by captain Rohit Sabharwal at 18 and C William at 17.

J Suchith was the pick of the bowlers for Mysore Warriors, grabbing 3 wickets for just 9 runs. R Bhatkal also managed to get 3 wickets conceding only 15 runs. A Verma picked up a wicket as well, giving away 22 runs.
