Bengaluru: Mangalurean cricketer Kieth Pinto picked a five-wicke haul as Mangaluru Zone defeated Shimoga Zone by six wickets in the KSCA under-19 inter-moffussil cricket tournament here.
Wreaking havoc with the ball, Pinto bagged five wickets for 26 runs. Sreekar Ganiga (2/26) and Abhilash Shetty (2/30) also played their part in bowling out Shimoga for a paltry score of 103 in 36 overs.
Chasing 104 to win, Sureen MU smashed an unbeaten 49 as Mangaluru Zone reached the target (104/4) without much trouble in just 28 overs.
