Ranchi:Chennai Super Kings defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Champions League T20 Group B match at the JSCA International Cricket Stadium here on Thursday .Though Skipper Shikhar Dhawan (48, ) and fellow opener Parthiv Patel gave the Sunrisers a rousing start while allrounder Darren Sammy did his best to take his side over the line thier chase ended at a valiant 191 for 7 at the end of 20 overs.
CSK skipper M.S. Dhonis late-innings blitz of 63 off just 19 deliveries, a knock that included five massive sixes off a Thisara Perera over, proved to be decisive as the Super Kings made 202 for 5 after being asked to bat first.
