Shivamogga: BJP state President Yeddyurappa’s Vinobha Nagar house in Shivamogga was picketed by the youth Congress workers, on Thursday morning.
The protesters, led by youth Congress leader K Ranganath, along with 25 other youth Congress workers were later detained by the police.
The Congress workers alleged that BS Yeddyurappa and his party were trying to disturb the coalition government in the state by luring the legislators of the coalition government. The youth Congress workers said that they had come to treat BJP leader who is mentally ill.
The Congress workers had registered Yeddyurappa’s name in the OPD section of a hospital and were holding the OPD receipt when they picketed the and shouted slogans against him. The police arrested the demonstrators and released them.
