Shivamogga: A day after he informed the media that the party national leadership declined him permission to carry out ‘Operation Kamala’, former CM B S Yeddyurappa made another U-turn. Speaking at a party event in Thirthahalli, he stated that the BJP leaders are not sages to reject or deny an opportunity to form the government in the state.
“This coalition government may fall any time soon. We are ready to form the government. The party activists must be alert,” he stated.
The event was organised by the BJP’s Thirthahalli unit to felicitate newly elected MP B Y Raghavendra.
“If the Assembly election is held today, we will win in over 150 Assembly constituencies. But no one wants an election so, we are ready to form the government in the interest of the state,” he said.
He also stated that he will soon start a state-wide tour to draw the attention of the state government towards the drought condition.
