Shivamogga: Two persons who were severely injured in an accident on Monday in the Kaspadi village of Sagar town, breathed their last in the wee hours of Tuesday, October 29.
The deceased are identified as Kalegowda alias Kalu (34) and Kumar (28), both residents of the Sunkathonnur village of Mandya district’s Pandavapura taluk.
This was confirmed by the doctors at Maax Hospital, who said that the two died without responding to treatment.
It can be recalled that a Maruti Swift car had rammed into a cow and struck another car that was parked on the side of the road.
Due to the impact of the accident, five people – Vinod, Kalu, Kumar, Ramesh (all from Mandya) and Bhargav – were injured.
Reportedly, the accident was caused by the careless driving of Bhargav, a resident of Gandhinagar, Sagar taluk.
Kalu and Kumar, who were severely injured, were admitted to Maax Hospital, while the rest were admitted to McGANN Hospital.
