Shivamogga: Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary clarified that there is no confusion in either the state and central government and assured that problems within the party would be rectified soon.

Addressing the reporters after paying a visit to D H Shankaramurthy at his residence on Saturday, August 24, Poojary said, “Displeasure in every party is very common when new ministers are inducted into the cabinet. However, all issues will be rectified soon and there won’t be any confusion. Soon after the B S Yediyurappa-led BJP government came into power in state, heavy rain lashed many of its parts resulting in flooding in many places. The ministers who were recently inducted into the cabinet have been indulged in taking stock of the situation from the flood-hit regions. As Chief Minister Yediyurappa has asked each of the ministers to pay a visit to at least two districts and help the flood victims, we are all striving hard to extend our helping hand towards the flood-affected.”

Expressing his grief over the death of senior BJP leader and former union minister Arun Jaitely, Poojary said, “Jaitely’s death is a huge loss to the party and the whole nation. Though the portfolio allocation to the new ministers was scheduled to take place within two days, it was postponed due to his passing. However, the portfolios will be assigned soon.”

Other leaders such as D S Arun, Channabasappa, Madhusudhan, Subhash, Hiranaiah and others were present.
