Shivamogga: Objecting to the Central Government’s economic policies, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest near the city bus stand on Friday, September 20.
The NSUI workers held placards and raised slogans against the economic policies that have been implemented by the Central Government.
One protestor said, “When will the good days (Acche Din) arrive? There are no opportunities even for the educated unemployed. A person who has studied BA is driving an autorickshaw and an engineering graduate is polishing shoes. Ambani and Adani are experiencing good days while the general public is facing bad days.”
“The Central Government must seek the help of economic policy experts and should stop following unscientific methods. The President of India should issue the government a warning against the policies being implemented,” he added.
NSUI District President Vijay, Vice-President Raghavendra, District Youth Congress leader Vinay Tandle and others were present.
