Shivamogga: The Shivamogga-Bengaluru Jan Shatabdi Express, which was launched earlier for six days a week (not operational on Tuesdays), will now be functional on all days of the week.
According to the press note released by parliamentarian B Y Raghavendra, “Not only will the train be functional throughout the week, but also reach earlier than usual. From Monday, October 14 onwards, the train will depart from Shivamogga at 5.30 AM and reach Bengaluru’s Yeshawanthpur station at 9.50 AM, 20 minutes earlier than usual. Similarly, it will depart from Bengaluru at 5.30 PM and reach Shivamogga at 9.50 PM, 30 minutes earlier than normal.”
“According to the revised travel time, the train will reach Bengaluru in 4 hours and 20 minutes, which was earlier 4 hours and 50 minutes. This will help commuters travelling to Bengaluru for official and business purposes,” the press note added.
