Shivamogga: “IMA Jewels MD Mohammed Mansoor Khan who is absconding after looting investors of their money, may not stay alive,” said Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader K S Eshwarappa.

Speaking to the media in a hotel here on Monday, July 1, Eshwarappa said that Mohammed Mansoor Khan was absconding after looting the hard earned money of the poor. “And there is no wonder if the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government kills him or be the reason for his suicide”, he added.

Eshwarappa said that the survival of some influential persons of the coalition government depends over Mohammed Mansoor Khan’s death and they might kill him or force him to commit suicide.

Resignation drive in coalition government

“A resignation drive has started in the coalition government. MLA Anand Singh has already resigned. This is just the beginning and we don’t know where it will end. But there is no hand of BJP behind the resignation,” Eshwarappa said.

Responding to a question from a media personnel, who, citing that Eshwarappa had earlier stated that the coalition MLAs would resign starting from Bellary constituencies, asked whether BJP had a role in Singh’s resignation, Eshwarappa said, “Bellary is my hometown. I had given this statement during an event held there. There were talks of differences between the coalition government and the legislators then and now, it has been proven right.”

“H D Devegowda has expressed is outrage stating whether Kumaraswamy has to take Eshwarappa and Yeddyurappa’s permission to go on a tour to USA. But we have never mentioned that he has to take our permission. The people in the state are facing a lot of problems. The BJP requests Kumaraswamy not to travel abroad during such a situation and instead resolve people’s issues,” said Eshwarappa.
