Shivamogga: Four members of a family, who had recently returned from the United Kingdom to Shivamogga, have tested positive for COVID-19. The family returned to India out of fear of the spread of the new mutated coronavirus strain.
The samples taken from the family members have been sent to the National Institute Of Virology in Pune to get a second opinion and to find out if they are carrying the mutated COVID-19 virus.
As of now, nothing has been confirmed by the authorities and the presence of the mutated strain can only be confirmed after the test results come from the National Institute Of Virology.
