kse welcomeShivamogga: Veteran BJP leader and Minister K S Eshwarappa has billed off the Congress as a broken home where D K Shivakumar is on one side and former CM Siddaramaiah on the other.

Addressing the reporters in Shivamogga on Monday, he said that the people of the state have already sidelined the Congress and in the future, the party will only bite the dust.

Further, speaking about the lavish welcome that was extended to D K Shivakumar, KSE said that the people of the state are feeling ashamed by the same.

“The Congress should have condemned the same. DKShi was neither returning home with a medal nor did he battle enemies at the border. He was returning home after being in jail for a money laundering case,” he said.

Speaking about the disqualified MLAs, he said that the BJP leaders are making different statements about them, while it is a matter that will be handled by the BJP state president. “It is because of the disqualified MLAs that the BJP came to power and it is our duty to respect their demands,” he said.

Commenting on the Tippu Jayanthi issue, he said that the Congress is making use of it for political gains.

“No Muslim in the state had ever demanded a Tippu Jayanthi. The ones wanting the celebrations will do so in their homes. The Congress is trying to mislead the Muslims in the name of Tippu Jayanthi,” he opined.
