Shivamogga: A bus turned turtle at Uloor Cross here, killing three persons on the spot and leaving several others injured.
The deceased are Keerthana (12), her mother Sujatha Krishnakumar (40) from Karki, Honnavar and Mohammad Yaseen bin Babu (16) from Chitradurga.
The bus had left Sagar for Bengaluru and what is shocking is the fact that the same bus had turned turtle thrice in the last one month. Many also say that overloading of the bus is the reason for these accidents.
The RTO officials are being blamed by the locals for turning a blind eye towards such buses that violate the rules while running on the roads.
