Shivamogga: In a surprising incident reported from the Shivamogga district on Wednesday, February 5, a bus driver managed to avoid what could have been a major accident, all while suffering a cardiac arrest.
Kumar (32), a resident of Baganakatte village, Shikaripura, was driving a bus named “Kumadvathi” carrying passengers from Shikaripura to Honnali.
When the bus reached Kengatte village, Kumar experienced acute chest pain and eventually died after suffering a cardiac arrest.
As per reports, even as he was about to die, he turned the bus towards the side of the road, eventually hitting a tree and halting, preventing a major catastrophe.
The passengers in the bus escaped with only minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the bus drivers and bus owners’ association have condoled Kumar’s death.
