Shivamogga: “This Lok Sabha election is based on the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party has made this the brand for its election campaign,” said State President of BJP Backward Classes Morcha, B G Puttaswamy.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, April 19, Puttaswamy said, “The government has seized Rs 3,000 Crore from the illegal mining case involving Congress and Rs 1,50,000 Crores has come to the government’s treasury. The centre has sanctioned Rs 75,000 Crore to the state out of which only Rs 3,000 Crore has been utilised. As many as 50 crore people have benefited from the ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana.’ This is why the youth are supporting Modi.”

“Including Byndoor, there are 42 percent backward communities in Shivamogga which will vote for BJP. B S Yeddyurappa has given political significance to minority communities which did not have enough social status. Has the Congress party worked on improving the status of minority communities?”, questioned Puttaswamy.

“The backward communities are for the BJP and therefore, B Y Raghavendra will win the Lok Sabha election with a good majority,” he said.

“During the time of monarchy, the royal families would divide provinces among themselves and rule. H D Devegowda family is following the same. Hassan is given to Revanna, Mandya to Kumaraswamy and in the coming days Tumakuru will be given to Balakrishna,” ridiculed Puttaswamy.
